All new AUSTAR broadband customers receive a 14 day money back guarantee.

If you are not entirely satisfied with AUSTAR's broadband service, return your AUSTAR broadband equipment for a full refund.

You've got 14 days from the day that you purchased the AUSTAR broadband equipment to obtain a refund. We'll also refund your first month's monthly subscription fee.

Modems purchased directly from AUSTAR

If you've purchased the modem and any equipment directly from AUSTAR, please call our Customer Service department on 132 532 who will organise a full refund on the cost of your equipment and your subscription fee.

Our Customer Service staff will send you a replied paid postage bag. Return the modem and the packaging to AUSTAR using the postage bag and once we receive the modem, your refund will be processed immediately.

Modems purchased from a retailer

If you've purchased the modem and any other AUSTAR broadband equipment from a retailer, you will need to return to the retailer for a full refund on your modem. Don’t forget to call AUSTAR on 132 532. We'll make sure you receive a refund for your subscription fee.
